Much-improved big man Rory Lobb is under an injury cloud for Greater Western Sydney, in a blow to their hopes of exploiting the Western Bulldogs' second-string backline.

Lobb was named in the 25-man squad but did not complete the Giants' training session on Thursday due to a calf problem and will need to train well on Saturday if he is to face the Bulldogs. The beanpole forward has been one of the finds of the season, impressing with his strong contested marking.
"Rory's a bit sore from the week, he's had a huge load - third-year player playing every game as well as NAB Cup and a big pre-season," Giants coach Leon Cameron said. "We've opted to take the easy route for him today. We expect him to train Saturday. If he's not right he's not right."
A fully-fit Lobb alongside Jeremy Cameron and Jonathon Patton would stretch a Bulldogs side missing almost their entire first-choice back six. Adam Tomlinson is the favourite to come into the side if Lobb is not passed fit.
It will not be a case of last in first out for youngster Jacob Hopper, who has kept his place in the Giants' 22.
Hopper starred on debut with 32 possessions but will not be the player to make way for Toby Greene, who returns after missing last week's game due to soreness.
