Wild child: If we examine the impact of the capped interchange rotations from a fantasy perspective, look no further than Mitch Robinson. His scoring hasn't been terrible, just wildly erratic.

CARLTON

New heights: If you want more evidence to illustrate just how prolific Bryce Gibbs' season has been, his current average of 109.8 is the highest of his career.

COLLINGWOOD

Know your role: Despite being groomed as a Jack Gunston-type forward in the preseason, Jeremy Howe has occupied the Pies' vacant role across half back. If coaches would have bet on it, a forward role would have been more fantasy friendly, but scores of 98, 83 and 94 in his last three suggest the contrary.

ESSENDON

Silence: If Orazio Fantasia left coaches speechless with an unpredictable average of 94 after Round 5, he has once again left coaches speechless by averaging 50.25 from thereon. Only this time around, the speechlessness was for all of the wrong reasons.

FREMANTLE

Play him!: If Ross Lyon played Ultimate Footy, he probably wouldn't be very good either. Just play Barlow.

GEELONG

Walls of Buckley: While Collingwood trounced Geelong in a pure football sense, it's worth noting seven of the top 10 averaging Cats failed to exceed their season average.

GOLD COAST

New era: If history is anything to go by, Daniel Currie is 2016's 2015 Max Gawn and 2014 Stefan Martin.

GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY

The architect: If Heath Shaw only scraps his way to 70 points this week, that won't matter. All will be forgiven after his 176 point effort last Sunday, and his tweet after the game was typical of the larrikin.

HAWTHORN

Return: If you're Sam Mitchell, you're thankful Brisbane have bigger worries in their midfield than finding a tagger to nullify you after the sublime job Tom Mitchell did last weekend.

MELBOURNE

Launch pad: After a quite fortnight with scores of just 59 and 47, Max Gawn is in the perfect position to reinvigorate his season against Port Adelaide this weekend. According to many, it was against Port Adelaide in the NAB Challenge where Gawn arrived.

NORTH MELBOURNE

Favourite: If you're an avid Ultimate Footy coach, the spectacle of Farren Ray playing once again means more than any league win ever could. Here's to hoping he can improve on his 68 from last weekend.

PORT ADELAIDE

Reunion: If there is one matchup we're eager to see this weekend, it's Ollie Wines and Jack Viney. Childhood buddies and midfield bulls; both players made their debut in the same game. And with only one ton in his last four games, Wines may be the underdog ahead of the game.

RICHMOND

Captain Courageous: There has always been a lot said about Trent Cotchin's leadership since assuming the captaincy, but 127 points on return last week can only be a tick in the positive column.

ST KILDA

Exceeding anticipation: Most players who had an average draft position of 236 would be unlikely to even be on squad lists at the minute. Contrastingly, that was Seb Ross' ADP this year, yet he is the 14th highest averaging player.

SYDNEY

Saving grace: With Ben Jacobs sidelined for the foreseeable future, Dan Hannebery, Luke Parker and/or Josh Kennedy can sleep easy knowing no legitimate tag will be in play on Friday night.

WEST COAST

The guy: If an out-of-form Taylor Walker can kick five goals against Gold Coast, we dread to think what the in-form Josh Kennedy will do to them this week, after a haul of seven last week. Another week with an average above 100.

WESTERN BULLDOGS

Thankful: Given Caleb Daniel had minimal fantasy expectations this season, it's unfair to be disgruntled after a few lean weeks from the league's smallest player.
