The expo is in its third year in Mount Isa and enables families to source local businesses for all their baby and toddler needs.
There was plenty on display including clothing, toys, car seat checks, accessories, furniture, skin care samples, photography, day care and clothing for mums.
Women’s Health Queensland midwife, Vivienne Murray, had a stall at the expo and said she participated to encourage woman to sign up for the midwife check-in program.
“We want to let mums and expecting mums know that there is a telephone service available for them to call at anytime throughout their pregnancy,” she said.
“It has unlimited call time and provides education, advice and information to pregnant women and new mums at their convenience.”
Commerce North West organised the event and said with the communities support they hoped to continue the expo.
