Their old men "did everything first before" them, helping Western Samoa make the 1991 World Cup quarter-finals, but Scott Sio and Allan Alaalatoa are hoping to create their own history by running out for Australia together.

And Sio dreams one day there will be two Sios and two Alaalatoas all playing for the Wallabies.
Both Alaalatoa and Sio made Wallabies coach Michael Cheika's 33-man squad and are pushing for spots in the final 23 for the first of three Tests against England in Brisbane.
Their fathers, David Sio and Vili Alaalatoa, made rugby history as part of the Western Samoa team that beat Wales on the way to the 1991 World Cup quarter-finals.
Sio junior made his Wallabies debut against New Zealand in 2013 and has 16 Test caps, having established himself as the Wallabies starting loosehead prop for last year's World Cup.
But he said you never "have a hold on a jersey" and everyone had to start again this year.
It's a new beginning for the young Alaalatoa, who has been picked for his first Australian camp.
They've come a long way together, from training together under the guidance of their dads on St Luke's Oval in Sydney's western suburbs, to both playing for the ACT Brumbies, to now hoping to be on the international stage together.
"It's pretty crazy when you think about it ... the first thing is hopefully we run together for the Brumbies and see how that goes, you don't know what the future holds," Sio said.
"I guess it's a possibility and we've just got to make it a reality."
But it could get even crazier: there is another Alaalatoa and another Sio playing professional rugby, Michael Alaalatoa for the Canterbury Crusaders and Patrick Sio for French club Stade Francais.
Sio floated the idea of all four of them running out in international rugby one day.
"The funny thing is, we might be playing together against our other two brothers. Mike is over there for the Crusaders and my brother's playing for Stade Francais, so he might be running out for Les Bleus one day," he said.
"There's always Samoa there, too. They've been playing some great rugby. Or he might even come back and join us, they all might come back. How good would that be? All four of us playing for Australia."
Alaalatoa found out he'd made the 39-man Wallabies squad, which was culled to 33 on Friday, after his cousin Saila Saipele tagged him in a Facebook post.
He called his mum and dad, who were both "over the moon" while his mum screamed down the phone.
The 22-year-old was looking to pick the brains of the other experienced props in the Wallabies camp.
"Our old mans are saying they did everything first before us. To have Scotty there, I'm probably going to draw on him the most, mainly because we're very close and he's been in the international area for a long time now, so hopefully he can keep me under his wing and help me out a bit when I get nervous," Alaalatoa said.
"I've got nothing to lose. I'm just going to go out there and just try my best because that's all I can offer and leave it in their hands and see how it goes.
"I'm just really looking forward to learning from experienced props there like [Greg Holmes], Sekope Kepu.
"Hopefully, I can pick their brains a bit because they've been around for a very long time now and to be able to be in the same environment as them is a huge blessing."
