While the camels, jockeys and trainers are the stars of this Melbourne Cup of Camel Races, the trackside will also feature Mick Lindsay, Memphis Moovers, plus Boulia’s own country music star Ali Sacipovic.
Just three weeks out from the event, thousands of visitors are making final plans for the iconic races from July 14-17
On Thursday the program opens with a street party, featuring the inaugural Great Australian Ride on Mower Race, street parade, a giant dump truck slide and live music with Greg Nunaan and the General Jacksons.
The strong evening program continues on Friday when the first camels hit the tracks for a novelty race followed by live entertainment with the Memphis Moovers.
