This year the Mount Isa Motor Show and Swap Meet Committee are hoping to double the donation.
With over 65 exhibits last year, travelling in from as far out as Townsville, there were some magnificent displays.
2016 promises to trump the turnout, exhibits, stalls and displays. There will be food stalls, a jumping castle and competitions for all ages.
The public will be able to vote on their favourite exhibit and favourite club display and try their luck in the competitions: The Fastest Wheel Change and Guess the Cubed Car.
There are categories for cars, motorcycles, boats and four wheel drives plus a display competition for local clubs to participate in.
Registration forms are available from the Facebook page or RACQ CareFlight and Mount Isa Mining Supplies.
This year the event will take place once again at Buchanan Park on July 2 from 1pm to 5pm.
