Hodge, 32, hasn't played since round six, having been sidelined with a knee injury.

The Hawks have named the inspirational midfielder for Sunday's clash with Gold Coast in Launceston, resisting the temptation to delay his return for another fortnight, given Hawthorn have the bye next week.

Hawks football operations boss Chris Fagan said Hodge was ready.

"Hodgey has been doing full training for the last five weeks," Fagan told the club's website.

"Physically he's in really good shape and ready to go.

"He got the tick off from the doctors, physios and fitness staff - so he's 100 per cent right and looking forward to getting back out there."

Will Langford, Kaiden Brand and Brendan Whitecross have also been added to the Hawks' 25-man squad for the clash. Cyril Rioli comes out of the side as he attends a family funeral in the Northern Territory.

The Suns have made three changes so far, with Adam Saad and Aaron Hall the most noteworthy inclusions.

Cloke, Nathan Brown and James Aish have been recalled for Collingwood's clash with Fremantle at the MCG on Friday night.

Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley said all three players had earned their reprieves.

"All three of those guys played particularly well two weeks ago in their last VFL appearance and have put in a body of work that suggests that they want to come in and make a difference for us at senior level so we look forward to that," Buckley said.

Jarrod Witts and Jack Frost have been dropped, while Ben Crocker is out with a knee injury.  The weather will determine whether Mason Cox will keep his spot in the side.

"I think we're expecting a one in 100-year storm given all I'm hearing from the bureau of meteorology," Buckley said."He [Cox] will be selected to play and we expect that, unless things get totally out of hand, he'll play."

Cloke was dropped for the second time this year after just one game following the Pies' 67-point loss to Port Adelaide three weeks ago. The premiership forward previously endured a six-week stint in the reserves after he was banished to the VFL ahead of the Anzac Day clash with Essendon.

And Buckley was making no guarantees on how long Cloke would stay in the side this time around. "That depends on different variables. Clokey's performance will be the main one and how we perform as a team and the role that he plays within that."

Riewoldt and fellow key forward Paddy McCartin both missed the Saints' last-start win against Carlton a fortnight ago, but the talls are named to return against Geelong at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night. Tom Lee is out with a knee injury, while Lewis Pierce has been omitted.

The surging Cats have made one change, with Josh Caddy (knee) replaced by Cameron Guthrie, who missed last week's win over the Western Bulldogs through illness.

Meanwhile Greater Western Sydney have regained Steve Johnson and Shane Mumford for Saturday's match against Carlton at Spotless Stadium.
