Traffic chaos marked the start of the school holidays on Saturday with two multi-vehicle crashes on the Bruce Highway near Caboolture causing major delays.

Australian Traffic Network traffic reporter Olympia Kwitowski said the most recent incident took place at about 1.23pm and was a multi-vehicle crash at the Pumicestone Road Interchange near Caboolture.
The incident was blocked two southbound lanes and caused "really heavy delays" back to Six Mile Creek.
The second incident happened about 12.45pm with a multi-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway heading north at the Pumicestone Bridge in Caboolture.
An hour later the crash had cleared, but it left delays are back to Buchannan Road in Morayfield.
Elsewhere, the 'Disney On Ice' production at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre has wreaked havoc on the Gateway Motorway for most of Saturday.
Heavy traffic is causing northbound delays from Moreton Drive to Bicentennial Road, while southbound delays stretch from Deagon Racecourse to the entertainment centre.
