And for the first time in Australia you can see approximately a gazillion of them.
The Gazillion Bubble Show has been entertaining audiences in New York in the off-broadway theatre New World Stages for ten years, and now it has hit the road making its way down under for the very first time.
Starring the stunning bubble master Melody Yang, who has been perfecting her craft since the age of three, the show has played to packed houses in Brisbane this week - and that doesn't look set to change as the show continues its lap of the country.
While staring at someone blowing bubbles for 70 minutes might not, on the surface, sound like a fun way to spend an evening, the Gazillion Bubble Show somehow makes the time fly through its innovative use of different bubble blowing techniques, lasers and music.
This isn't just someone standing there with supermarket bubble formula and a healthy set of lungs.
This is next-level bubble blowing.
Yang's bag of tricks allows her to blow gigantic bubbles, tiny bubbles, smoke filled bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, square bubbles, bubbles that look like planets, big bubbles that release a sea of little bubbles and bubbles that lucky audience members can get inside.
"Our bubble solution is so unique. It has seven different ingredients. They are our secret, but we use a special type of glycerine and mineralised water and because of that we can manipulate the bubbles the way we do," Yang said.
Their bubble manipulation techniques have helped Yang and her family earn a range of world records, from putting 118 people to an elephant inside a bubble.
"There's 17 Guinness world records from a mix of my family," she said.
"One of them being the worlds largest bubble, most people inside a bubble... a whole bunch of records involving just soap bubbles."
Throughout the show the audience gets to see the extraordinary things one person can do with soap mixture and a few tools, but one lucky person gets to get up close and personal with the magic and get inside a bubble... and Melody has a tip for how to be that person.
"I try to pick someone I have spotted who gives me the most excitement, I like to choose them to come on stage," she said.
While adults might think bubble blowing is very much a children's activity, Yang said from her perspective on the stage looking out to the crowd its not just the little ones watching in wonder as the stage fills with bubbles.
"We get adults, we get seniors, everyone gets excited," she said.
"It's a family-oriented show but it really is for everyone.
"But of course when kids are happy the parents get even more joy out of it."
The Gazillion Bubbles Show plays at The Concert Hall QPAC until Monday. Best seats are available in the evening.
