The Dawn Sanderson trained horse was five lengths ahead of second placer Good Mood.
Ballard’s second victory of the day was on Albertique in the 1000 metre BenchMark 65 Handicap.
The Steven Royes’ trained race horse won with a time of 0:58.85 – two lengths ahead of Mossale.
Ballard’s father Keith won the last race of the day on Doom City Dragon.
The 1200 metre Class 3 Plate winner was 4.3 lengths ahead of Nicabelle, and first past the post with a time of 1:12.30.
Duke’s Delight, ridden by Tasha Chambers, won the 1000 metre Class B Handicap at 1:00.24. Chambers and Happy to be Here won the 1100 metre Maiden Plate with a time of 1:06.54.
