MamaMia a tribute to ABBA, will travel from Sydney to perform for locals after the prolonged drought and therefor cancellation of the annual Easter rodeo. Event organiser, Julie Woodhouse, said she wanted to put something on for the community.
“I applied through Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation for the grant money so the band could come out,” Ms Woodhouse said.
“ABBA is a band that had music which appealed to all ages. If you enjoy the songs of ABBA and wish for a nights free entertainment travel out to Boulia for a blast into the past.”
