Cory Bayne, who is keen on computers, said he and Adam Godwin got to work with the IT Service Centre.
“We were given some new computers that we had to unpack and get working. It was really good,” he said.
Nerida Andrade had wanted to be a doctor, and after spending some time in paediatrics, definitely wants to be a paediatrician now.
Jonah Donavan was interested in nursing and midwifery and spent some time gowned and scrubbed up in theatre.
Year 12 student at Spinifex Senior, Kyla Goodall, who spent a week in work experience at the hospital, said she was interested in health administration, with Cert two in Health Services already under her belt.
“This week has really helped me and confirmed that’s what I want to do.”
