Following her Queen duties Ms Scott has spent the last two months in central Queensland travelling to Bowen River and Nebo.
“I had never been to Bowen River before. Bowen River Rodeo was situated on property roughly 30-kilometres from Collinsville. It certainly had a great country feel to it and truly showed the diversity of the Professional Rodeo Association. I also had the opportunity to judge the Queen Quest which was fantastic,” Ms Scott said.
“Nebo has wiped the Cloncurry Merry Musters title to become the highest single payout rodeo in the Southern Hemisphere and pulling over 330 nominations it certainly didn't disappoint.
I am excited to be given this opportunity and I will be cheering on all the Australian competitors.

“I also visited local schools. I was happy to see the children so excited and see their faces light up when I walked in the room. I discussed what rodeo was all about and let them know what rodeo events were coming up in their town.”
In between touring Queensland Ms Scott is currently organising her trip to America where she will travel to Cheyenne, Wyoming on July 23 to represent Australia at the Frontier Days Rodeo.
“I am grateful I get to participate in a street parade on horseback, grand entry and arena ride-by's, queen introductions, VIP luncheon, appearances, autograph signings and on the final night we will attend the Champion of Champions where all of the winners will be presented.
“I am excited to be given this opportunity and I will be cheering on all the Australian competitors and wishing them the best of luck.”
Ms Scott will return to Australia just before the Cloncurry Merry Muster Festival held on August 3-4.
“I am on the Curry Rodeo Committee and helping to organise this year’s event and the Curry Rodeo Queen Quest.
“The Rodeo Queen Quest is a great opportunity for women to follow their dreams, support their local rodeo and follow in Miss Rodeo Australia’s footsteps.”
Ms Scott thanked the Cloncurry community, Rodeo Association, her sponsors and family and friends for their ongoing support throughout her Miss Rodeo Australia journey.
