Three people have been charged after an armed robbery at a Gold Coast Highway service station on Sunday morning.

It will be alleged about 1.30am, a man and a woman entered the Burleigh Heads business while a second woman stood by the door.
The first woman then threatened the attendant with a knife and cash from the register was handed over.
Police also said all three of the accused fled the scene in a vehicle, which police located a short time later at an address in Palm Beach.
A 21-year-old Upper Coomera woman, 18-year-old Wattle Ridge man, and a 21-year-old Southport woman have been charged with one count each of armed robbery.
All three are due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
