While South Africa - who tour here first - are traditionally a more fancied opponent, Pakistan might be a better challenge, certainly if their form from the past week is anything to go by.
At any rate, their celebrations alone are pretty enjoyable and unique, and could be another aspect of the Test summer for Australian fans to look forward to.
The Pakistanis toppled England at Lord's in a first Test thriller on Sunday night (Australian time) and celebrated with several push-ups and a military salute on cricket's most famous ground.

Earlier in the Test, captain Misbah-Ul-Haq celebrated his century in similar fashion - by doing 10 pushups.
Have you ever seen a celebration like this?! #EngvPak https://t.co/bbGH9lfMpG— England Cricket (@englandcricket) July 14, 2016
The Pakistanis completed some training at an army boot camp before the tour of England, and Misbah said he had promised "the army guys" that he would do 10 push-ups to mark a ton.
"We did a camp in Abbottabad before the skill camp in Lahore, and we used to do an honour code every time, we just stepped into the ground and did 10 push-ups. And I promised them, if ever I score a hundred, I will definitely do that to remind you that we were there," he told a press conference.
Pakistan head Down Under for their first Test tour here since 2009-2010, playing three Tests in Brisbane, Melbourne (Boxing Day) and Sydney. Here's hoping for a good contest.
Fair play to @TheRealPCB who played some excellent cricket and good celebrations too. #EngvPak https://t.co/czkHg2bFsu— England Cricket (@englandcricket) July 17, 2016
