And if he has his own way he’s going to bring his slippers, no matter what his fans might think.
If his children annoy him too much he might wear them while performing at the Irish Club.
“My kids want me to chuck my slippers out just because they are old and shabby, all held together with gaffa tape, but I’m off to central Queensland and it gets cold late at night.
“I know one thing. If I keep getting nagged about it, I’ll start wearing them on the f—knuckle stage,” Rude posted on social media.
He then posted a photo of his slippers for his 23,500 followers to enjoy and comment on.
One commentator, Scott Morris, said the slippers looked like a couple of dead cats. “We all know how much you hate cats,” he said to Rude.
Rude will perform two nights in Mount Isa, on Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30.
Irish Club’s events manager Akos Schneider said the first show will be held in the club’s restaurant. There were 150 seats available.
The second show will be held in the club’s larger community hall.
Tickets can be bought from the Irish Club or by ringing (07) 4743 2577.
