Mount Isa pet owners have until August 12 to take advantage of the 50% discount on animal registration renewal. Mayor Joyce McCulloch said registration assisted in the speedy recovery of lost animals. “Registration fees help provide important pet related services within the city, such as animal control and community education about responsible pet ownership.” All registration renewal forms have been sent out for the 2016/17 period. If you have not received one, please contact Council on 47473200.
