Isa Rodeo Manager Natalie Flecker said the high profile husband and wife duo Mark and Jay O’Shea are four-time Golden Guitar winners, present the Big Country in-flight entertainment channel on Qantas airlines and have their own TV Show, “O’SHEA USA” on Foxtel’s Country Music Channel.
O’Shea will be host some social media vignettes and chat with performers and rodeo fans, according to Ms Flecker.
“I saw Mark and Jay in action at Rodeo Houston interviewing the cowboys and cowgirls, which was broadcast on the big screens as well as throughout the rodeo’s social media channels,” she said.
“We are thrilled to bring them to the Isa Rodeo and to continue to build the relationship between the giant Houston rodeo and the Isa Rodeo, which is the largest and richest (in prize money) in the southern hemisphere.
“I am sure our crowds will really enjoy O’Shea getting out and about around the rodeo and watching their interviews on our big screen.”
Ms Flecker said she expected O’Shea’s coverage of the Isa Rodeo to generate even more interest when shared on the Isa Rodeo’s social media channels.

“Having grown up in Queensland, I’ve been hearing about the Isa Rodeo all my life,” said Mark O’Shea.
“So it’s a real thrill to be involved this year.”
“We can’t wait to meet all the great folks and have some fun,” adds Jay,
“It’s gonna be great!
“We are very active on social media and see it as a very important way of communicating with our rodeo fans.”
Ms Flecker said she expected rodeo crowds would also enjoy seeing top American bull rider Steve Woolsey in action competing against Australia’s best bull riders.
Steven, who lives in Payson, Utah is travelling to Mount Isa with his wife Sally and five month old daughter Dana.
Three days of rodeo competition, including bull riding and saddle bronc kicks off on Friday, August 12.
