The latest car crashed into the home, on the corner of Brandon Road and Susan Court, in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The male driver, 20, was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries.

A police spokesman said while the man had tested positive to an alcohol breath test, he had not yet been charged late on Thursday as they were waiting on blood tests to come back.

Neighbour Debra Lillywhite told Nine News it was the second time the house had been struck.

"In the last instance a car went into my house too," she said.

"I feel someone will be killed and until that happens nothing will be done for the residents.

"I'm sad to see this. I was so scared tonight."

A council spokesman said, despite the repeated incidents at the bend in Brandon Road, there were no plans for traffic calming in the 50km/h street, which he said was "clearly signposted with warnings, including around the bend of the road".

"Council has received two previous reports of accidents occurring at this bend and investigations concluded that both were due to driver behaviour, not road conditions," he said.

"Council understands that media reports today state police believe this morning's accident was the result of a motorist driving under the influence of alcohol.

"Investigations of Brandon Road have identified accidents occur when motorists have not adhered to the speed limit and council has undertaken several upgrades which encourage motorists to reduce their speed.

"This includes installing speed warning signs and additional static speed signage, as well as making changes to the line markings and removal of a parking lane around the bend, to improve safety and visibility."
