Schroeter managed to hold her cool and finish the game square to edge out her nearest rivals. A countback was required for the runner-up spot and was eventually claimed by Eva Gordon on -1. Gordon rounded out a good performance by claiming the nearest the pins on hole two and 14 while Ulla Allen took the nearest the pin on hole 18.
Earlier in the week Ulla Allen claimed Wednesdays Ray White Rural trophy recording 70 nett in the stroke event.
Liz Jakeman’s score of 74 nett saw her take home the runners-up award. Closest to the pin awards went to Ulla Allen (2) and (18) and Liz Jakeman (12)
Following the close of play, August monthly medals were decided with Auretta Perrin in silver division Nicki Mills in Bronze one and Liz Debney in Bronze two. The putting champion was Auretta Perrin with 24 putts.
