Richmond's Daniel Rioli has a long way to go to match the exploits of others in his famous footballing family, but he's off to a good start after winning nomination as the AFL's rising star for round 22.

Rioli, 19, was one of the Tigers' best in their loss to St Kilda at the MCG last Saturday, collecting 16 disposals, four marks and four tackles, plus two goals in the low-scoring game.
After making his debut in the opening round, he has played 17 games. His consistency is reflected in the fact he has kicked two goals five times this season.
Richmond coach Damien Hardwick said he was impressed with the teenager's progress.
"We can already see Daniel's potential as an AFL player, and he's working incredibly hard to continue to add to his game," he said.
"With his speed, agility and good decision-making, he's an exciting player to watch, and will help to take our team forward in the years to come."
Rioli is the cousin of Hawthorn's Cyril Rioli and his late great uncle Maurice Rioli was a Richmond champion.
Rioli is originally from St Mary's Football Club in Darwin and moved to Victoria at 15 to attend St Patrick's College in Ballarat.
In 2015 he represented Northern Territory in the 2015 under-18 championships and kicked four goals for the North Ballarat Rebels in a TAC Cup final.
Rioli turned heads at the 2015 draft combine after ranking in the top 10 of five tests, including winning the 30-metre repeat sprints.
His elite mix of speed and endurance led to him being selected at pick 15 in the 2015 AFL draft.
