There are still "too few offices" and "too few meeting rooms" in Queensland's newest home for its public servants, 1 William Street, the state's public sector union says.

From October 1, more than 5000 Queensland public servants from 16 buildings will shift into 1 William Street in the biggest-ever George Street public service shuffle ever announced.
The departments to move into 1 William Street and new offices for Queensland's public servants are identified below.
Together Union secretary Alex Scott said senior public servants were still raising concerns with the floor layout as the government shift got closer.
"We think the William Street complex will not provide enough meeting rooms and offices to make it particularly public service-like," Mr Scott said.
"Its a one size fits all type approach and we don't think it is designed well for the sorts of numbers that are moving in," he said.
Fairfax Media has been told concerns had been raised at director-general level, with senior bureaucrats worried there were not enough offices for confidential meetings.
1 William Street was originally designed to host nine floors of private business with open-plan office space under the public servants.
In June 2015, Treasurer Curtis Pitt announced 1 William Street would be filled with public servants because the leases locked in by the previous government were too expensive for businesses.
Businesses found space up to $150 a square metre cheaper elsewhere in the inner-city as an office glut forced office space prices down.
A spokesman for Treasurer Curtis Pitt on Monday night said the Together Union had been recently briefed on the floor design, but the union had decided against endorsing the floor layouts.
"Pre-occupancy surveys" with public servants have begun and "post-occupancy surveys' will be completed after 1 William Street fills, the spokesman said.
"If minor modifications are identified well we could make them, but bigger changes will have budget considerations," the spokesman said.
The George Street shuffle - who moves where?
Nine full departments and agencies, all state government ministers, most directors-general and more than 5000 public servants will move to 1 William Street.
These nine departments are the Premier and Cabinet, the Public Service Commission, the Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning, Queensland Treasury (including the Office of Industrial Relations), the Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, the Department of State Development, Natural Resources and Mines, Energy and Water Supply and Trade and Investment Queensland.
Some sections from 11 other departments will also shift to 1 William Street, while other sections of these departments will move to other buildings in the inner-city.
Three buildings will be demolished; the Executive Building at 100 George Street, the Executive Annex at 80 George Street and the Neville Bonner Building at 75 William Street.
Public servants will also move out of three buildings where the State Government holds leases; 147 Charlotte Street, 80 Ann Street and 85 George Street. Leases on these buildings expire.
