In a rare act of true sporting behaviour Tigers have forfeited their Mount Isa AFL qualifying final game against Lake Nash Young Guns last weekend.

The game was deep into the second half last Saturday with Tigers leading a close game by just eight points when a Lake Nash player left the field and suffered a seizure on the sidelines.
Proceedings were brought to a halt while emergency services dealt with the situation and eventually the player was taken to Mount Isa Hospital where his condition is still being monitored.
In the AFL Mount Isa League meeting held Wednesday evening, Tigers Football club in a solid show of support for Lake Nash Young Guns, has forfeited the game to the Young Guns.
What this means is that Young Guns goes to the Grand Final to be played on September 3 at 1pm.
Tigers will now play the elimination against Rovers AFC this Saturday 27 August at 1pm at Legend Oval.
