LifeFlight to the rescue

Since July when the LifeFlight Engineering team completed a major service on their rescue chopper, the crew then went on to complete five missions in the region. On August 11, a woman in her 20s was airlifted from the Finders Highway near Julia Creek after she was involved in a single vehicle accident. The local RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew assisted at the scene of the crash before flying the woman to Mount Isa Hospital for further treatment.
