Canberra golfer Matthew Millar finished third in the South Pacific Open at Tina Golf Course in Noumea, New Caledonia, on Saturday.

Adam Blyth eventually emerged victorious in a playoff with fellow Queenslander Jake McLeod after both finished at 12-under, one shot ahead of Millar.
Blyth and McLeod played the last hole three times in the decider before Blyth won his first ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia event and second professional title after he also won on the Web.com Tour back in 2011.
Blyth claimed the $21,000 winners' cheque as well as points towards his world ranking.
