Kayne Gerard Slann was able to remain in the Mount Isa Police watch house during his court mention on Monday afternoon.
The matter has been adjourned to Wednesday morning on September 28.
Mr Slann’s solicitor Scott Schneider, of Anderson Telford Lawyers, said that Mr Slann’s personal appearance in the court would be required on this next occasion.
Mr Slann has been charged with serious assault of a police officer, and with unlawfully obstructing a police officer.
Mr Schneider said his client has been charged with further matters.
