With a successful teams competition last year, the Mount Isa Darts Club is hosting it again with the hope of it becoming even bigger. Darts representative, Daniel Flanigan, said there were already a bunch of new faces who had signed up.

“This is alongside a host of regular players, featuring last seasons singles champion Tim Ibbotson and runner up Carl O'Keffee,” Flanigan said.
“There are also members who have never played but just love the social side of the event including Rob Bradbury. Rob is invaluable, and on top of organising the event he managed to seal his first ever win in a game of darts last season. He is hoping to build on it this year.”
Mr Flanigan said everyone was welcome to play whether it be entering a team or requesting joining a team there was room for anyone.
