THE 25-YEAR-OLD Soldiers Hill man alleged to have tried to strangle a police officer at the weekend’s Mount Isa Races was among those charged during a drug bust operation in July. Kayne Gerard Slann’s charges relating to alleged serious assault of a police officer on Saturday have been adjourned until next Wednesday. Mr Slann made no application for bail in his court mentions on Monday and on Wednesday – where he was already scheduled to appear on charges of supplying, possessing and trafficking dangerous drugs.
