Delivering her State of the State address at a CEDA lunch, Ms Palaszczuk said out of 553 election commitments, the government had delivered 336.
Ms Palaszczuk took aim at critics who said her government was slow to act.
"It has often amused me that much of the commentary over the last 18 months seemed to suggest that a new government's agenda should be implemented in the first five minutes, and the results of that should be apparent immediately," she said.
"Unfortunately it's that kind of short-term thinking that has proven troublesome for previous governments.
"It's not a trap my government was going to fall into."
Successes so far included employing more nurses, doctors, teaches, police, paramedics and firefighters, legalising ride sharing, beginning a review into trading hours and chasing interstate businesses to relocate to Queensland through the Advance Queensland Industry Attraction Fund, she said.
Ms Palaszczuk said other positives were processes to reform statute of limitation periods for institutional child sex abuse, removing 17-year-olds from adult prisons, four-year fixed parliamentary terms, organised crime laws, gay panic defence laws, the age of consent and work to reduce domestic and family violence.
Ms Palaszczuk said the opportunities in Queensland outweighed the challenges.
She pointed to the REIQ reporting the median house price in Brisbane at $630,000, the State Final Demand figures for the June quarter showing strong growth, a booming tourism sector and a recovery in agricultural exports.
"Coal prices are above Treasury estimates, which not only means more investment and a better future for the mining sector but it potentially means extra revenue for our state coffers as well," Ms Palaszczuk said.
Ms Palaszczuk said she was leading "already one of the most reforming governments in Queensland's history".
But Opposition Leader Tim Nicholls said that claim was "completely far fetched".
Mr Nicholls pointed to poor employment figures for young Queenslanders and issues with debt and investment in infrastructure.
"It's a government that has issued more than 100 reviews and is still waiting for more to come," he said.
"This is a government that is more beholden to unions and union influence and industrial might than any government I've experienced in the past 20 years here in Queensland."
Ms Palaszczuk said she and Tourism Minister Kate Jones would announce a new tourism marketing campaign in November.
A Newspoll published in The Australian today revealed Ms Palaszczuk was the nation's most popular premier, with a satisfaction rating of 44, falling from 50 at the end of 2015.
