Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge will be presented with the 'Spirit Of Sport' award at the 32nd Sport Australia Hall of Fame Annual Induction and Awards Gala Dinner next week.

Beveridge has been recognised for his incredibly selfless gesture of giving his premiership medallion to club captain Bob Murphy who was unable to participate in the drought-breaking premiership victory on Saturday due to a knee injury suffered in April.
Beveridge calling Murphy up to the premiership dais and handing him the medallion will undoubtedly go down as one of the great moments in Australian sporting history.
Sport Australia Hall of Fame chairman, and legendary yachtsman, John Bertrand said Beveridge's actions encapsulated what the award was designed to recognise.
"We all watched it and it captured our hearts," Bertrand said.
"Luke's actions exemplify the spirit of sport and truly represent many of the values of the Sport Australia Hall of Fame including modesty, generosity and mateship.
"It's a fitting moment to be enshrined in the Sport Australia Hall of Fame via the 'Spirit of Sport' award, which we only award sparingly and in select circumstances – and this is one of those moments."
Since its inception in 2005, the 'Spirit Of Sport' award has only been presented on five occasions – most recently last year to surfers Mick Fanning and Julian Wilson who were involved in a terrifying shark encounter in South Africa.
The awards night takes place on Thursday, October 13 at the Crown Palladium in front of an expected crowd of 1200 people.
