State member for Mount Isa Robbie Katter and former Etheridge Shire Mayor Will Attwood inspect the site of the proposed Charleston Dam on the Delaney River near Forsayth.
Etheridge Shire Council will receive $10m for the construction of the dam, which will provide 100ML of water per year to Forsayth, and 500ML of water to Georgetown.
The Burketown Wharf Precint has also won $994,619 from round three of the fund.
