Dirt Bikes set to soar again in Mount Isa Sunday

The third and final round of the Bike & Rider Mount Isa Dirt Bike Club 2016 championship will be held this Sunday at Jubilee Park.

Round 2 saw some of the closest racing with everyone giving it their all to be first pass the flag.

And this Sunday promises to even bigger with everyone trying to secure their best overall position in the club championship.

Sign on, scrutineering and track walk is on from 7-8am followed by a riders briefing at 8am then practice from 8.15am to 9am.

Round 1 racing gets underway at 9am with presentation at the end of the last race which is the Senior Unlimited race.

Closed in footwear is required in the pit area and also out on the track.

The area in which the canteen is setup and also the grandstand area do not require enclosed footwear. 

BYO alcohol is prohibited anywhere at the venue, the bar will be open from 11am till the end of the day.

The club is also looking for volunteers to help out with lap scoring.
