Mount Isa mums and bubs get ready to participate in the Library’s First 5 Forever program this month.

The bubs of Mount Isa will get a special learning experience when the First 5 Forever program hits the city. Aimed at improving 0-5 year old children’s outcomes through confidence around communication and learning, the First 5 Forever team from State Library of Queensland will run a workshop at the city library this month. If you want to be a part of the free workshop October 26-27, contact Astrid Hancock on 07 4747 3352 or astridh@mountisa.qld.gov.au

First 5 Forever facilitator Dan Georgeson said the program encourages communities to spend time with babies and children in their first years, talking, playing and sharing stories so that growing brains get what they need at the right time.
