The costume of dancer Redfoo contributed to St Kieran’s being awarded the best costume in the upper primary school division.
There were 13 acts, with schools from Winton and Richmond competing.
The Daphne Tulloch overall best music award went to Good Shepherd Catholic College’s upper secondary act, for their Footloose theme. They won best backdrop and prop, best choreography and best costume categories in their division.
Good Shepherd also won all awards in the lower secondary division with their theme ‘Jungle Book’, except best costume, which was claimed by Winton State School for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean.’
In upper primary, Happy Valley State School won best overall, St Joseph’s Cloncurry had the best choreography, and Mount Isa School of the Air had best backdrop and props. All categories in lower primary were won by St Josephs Cloncurry.
