A motorcyclist and a limousine driver have been killed in separate crashes on Queensland roads.

The male motorbike rider was travelling along Kluver Road in Bald Hills, in Brisbane's north, when the "horrific" crash took place, with initial, unconfirmed reports to police suggesting the bike hit a fence.

A police spokeswoman said there were also reports of a car being involved in some way.
Kluver Street, which borders the Gympie Arterial Road, was closed to all traffic between Taragon and Chervil streets as forensic crash investigators examined the scene.
Paramedics were called to the crash but weren't able to revive the rider.
Meanwhile, a man died in north Queensland after a two-vehicle crash involving a limousine Proserpine just before 12.30am.
Police said initial investigations suggested the limousine was attempting a U-turn about one kilometre south of Proserpine when it was hit by a van travelling south along the Bruce Highway.
The van driver, a 43-year-old man from Park Avenue, was taken to Proserpine Hospital for treatment.
The highway was temporarily closed following the crash.
