Police confirmed a 9-year-old Rockhampton boy who had been missing for close to 24 hours, was found safe and well on Sunday afternoon.
Police have located a 9-year-old Rockhampton boy safe and well on Sunday afternoon after issuing an Amber Alert during the 23-hour search.

The boy was located in Kawana about 3.20pm and police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
Prior to his location, the boy had been reported missing from a Webber Avenue address in Kawana at 4.30pm on Saturday afternoon.
