Leanne Kum Sing’s passion for Halloween started when she took her son and two nieces out trick or treating. Now Ms Kum Sing said she had started her event to begin an initiative to award disadvantaged youth.
“I originally offered local community organisations this initiative to be utilised as a short term as an obtainable initiative program for their organisation in the bid to curb negative youth behaviour in our community and promote and reward good behaviour,” she said.
“I would like to see everyone dressed in their scariest outfits with prizes available for best dressed.
“The event will commence at 5.30pm and conclude at 9.30pm. This is so it caters for the younger children then runs into the evening, so scarier scenarios can be offered to the older youth group.”

Ms Kum Sing wanted to thank the sponsors for the event: BCF, Woolworths, Coles, PartiesOnline.com.au, Costumes.com.au, KMart, Bunnings and the North West Star.
