KAP not serving the community
It is amazing two people with the power to achieve so much for their electorates have become almost irrelevant.

I am talking about Katter’s Australian Party MPs Rob Katter and Shane Knuth.
Both have turned their backs on regional Queensland.
They are masters at saying one thing in their electorates but doing the complete opposite when in Brisbane.
Mr Katter and Mr Knuth are no champions of regional Queensland - despite telling anyone who will listen that they are.
Both MPs on October 11 voted against securing much-needed water infrastructure across Queensland.
This infrastructure would have provided thousands of jobs and poured millions into struggling regional economies.
These projects will also enhance water security by providing certainty to farmers, the community and industry.
Mr Katter and Mr Knuth voted with the Palaszczuk Labor Government to ignore a federal funding offer for 14 dam feasibility studies across the state.
In doing so, they have placed in jeopardy Queensland’s ability to access more than $2 billion in federal funds for vital water infrastructure projects.
Queensland is the only state in the nation that has rejected the federal government’s once-in-a-generation funding offer.
Unfortunately those people living in Mr Katter and Mr Knuth’s electorates will continue to be “have-nots”; while both MPs laze around, not representing the best interests of their communities.
Their constituents should ask themselves - what really have my local KAP MPs done for me or for our community?
The answer might shock you.

Poor service
On Monday I attended the Cloncurry Court House at about 3:50pm to request verification of my identity documents.
The young female told me that "we only do witnessing between 9am and noon".
Reading from my paperwork, I said "I only need a Registrar / Clerk / Sheriff / Bailiff - any Australian court of law".
The young female responded "that's me ......... but we only witness between 9am and noon".
I said "thank you" and walked out.
I was dumbfounded.
There was no other customer in sight.
The door sign said closing time was 4:30pm.
A State Government employee refused to serve a resident of the state.
I was in a state of shock for several hours.
What is wrong with the younger generation of today.
They have absolutely no concept of customer service or respect.
I have referred the matter to local MP Rob Katter, seeking feedback from the relevant Minister.

Banning drugs doesn’t work
Memo to the National Party, the Shooters Party and their friends:
Everything you say about guns also applies to drugs.
Responsible personal use of drugs does no-one any harm.
There are plenty of drug-users who are simply fed up with the government interfering in their lives.
And we know that banning drug use does nothing to stop drug-related crime.
So, members of the gun lobby:
if you're looking for a large number of people around the whole country who will most definitely support you if you support them.
