The 26-year-old recently made his debut for Scotland in the Four Nations defeat to Australia and he produced a good display after coming off the bench.
The prop, who can also play second-row, told Total RL he wouldn’t mind a taste of the English Super League.
"I probably would (come over) if my partner would come with me," McConnachie said.
"It's something in the back of my mind. It's something I wouldn't mind doing. I've enjoyed my time over here and I could certainly live over here."
Website clubcall.com said a number of Super League teams could make an offer if he became available, “with his power in the forwards department a major asset to any side”.
Scotland were knocked out of the Four Nations on the weekend after they lost 38-12 to England.
