The Cloncurry Local Business Committee officially launched a shop local campaign on Friday, November 7, at a local business networking function.

Cloncurry Local Business Committee Chair James Pavy said, “The campaign is aimed at encouraging residents to shop locally within Cloncurry.
“There are a wide range of local businesses that offer an array of products and services. It’s about thinking locally first and supporting the local businesses.”
There are over 30 businesses participating in the campaign that offers a chance to win one of ten $100 vouchers, four $500 vouchers and one $1,000 voucher.
“To be eligible to enter the draw a shopper must spend over $50 in any participating business with every $50 spent in one transaction to receive an entry up to a maximum of five entries per transaction.”
The campaign is aimed at encouraging residents to shop locally within Cloncurry.

The shop local campaign will run from Monday, November 14, to Thursday, 15 December 2016.
A minor prize draw of five $100 and two $50 vouchers will be draw at the Cloncurry Christmas Festival on Friday, November 25, November.
The major prize draw of five $100, two $500 and one $1,000 voucher will be drawn on Friday, December 16.
