Cavs won the toss and batted with Steve Andrews and Tom Robinson opening the bowling.
Farewelling player Luke Gowing (see page 22) started positively dispatching the attack to all parts of the ground taking the score to 1/55 after five overs.
But that all changed when Calum Fullelove was introduced to the attack and Gowing hit the middle of the edge of his first ball straight to keeper Bellinger, out for 32.
His dismissal began a collapse of Aussie test proportions.
Fullelove and L Graefe did most of the damage taking four wickets.
There was also a wicket apiece for S. Andrews and T. Robertson.
Captain Dan Tucker got in on the act taking three catches.
Only Corey Martin was immune from the damage, compiling a solidly hit 22 not out as the wickets fell around him.
In the end the Cavs were rolled without making three figures.
Cavs were all out for 90 in 17 overs.
Graefe took 4-14 in six overs, Fullelove took 4-18 in five overs, S. Andrews took 1-31 in three overs and T. Robertson took 1-19 in three overs.
Darryl Clark and Chas Eichmann sauntered out to the crease to confidently build the reply,
Clark started in typical flying fashion only to be out clean bowled by Gowing for 17.
But that was as good as it got for the Cavs.
Phil Bellinger joined Eichmann at the crease to comfortably bring home the innings make the required runs in under 13 overs.
Eichmann’s solid defensive game was complimented by the more attacking style of Bellinger living up to his surname in “belligerent” style.
Eichmann was dropped twice but went on to make 31 not out.
Bellinger made 37 not out.
Gowing finished with figures of 1-34 in fiver overs.
The other bowlers were S McKay who finished with 0-19 in three overs, D Breen 0-26 in three overs and J. Naylor 0-9 in 1.3 overs.
