A truck driver was airlifted to hospital after a crash near the Queensland border on Tuesday.

Paramedics were called to Lower Plains Road at Dirranbandi, south of Saint George, after reports a truck driver had crashed into a tree just before 11am.
The driver, 40, had sustained a head injury and broken collarbone.
A LifeFlight helicopter airlifted the man to Roma Hospital in a stable condition.
