An 18-year-old man wanted for questioning by police has turned himself in, after a man was shot dead on the Gold Coast.

After walking in to Southport Police Station unarmed, the man is now assisting police with their investigation at into the death of Jason Boyd, 41, who was killed at his Carrara home on Friday morning.
Police are still looking for a 31-year-old woman they say could help with their enquiries. She was described as caucasian and approximately 172 centimetres tall, with tattoos and brown hair.
Police also believe she may be driving a white Holden Commodore sedan.
Homicide police and detectives from Taskforce Maxima are investigating potential outlaw motorcycle gang connections following the shooting, and a number of witnesses who were at the scene are assisting police.
Detective Inspector Marc Hogan said the man's body was found inside a shed on the property, which also doubled as the man's home.
