A car has burst into flames after a serious collision with a truck north-west of Brisbane on Sunday morning.

A police spokeswoman said the crash happened about 11.30am on the D'Aguilar Highway at Nanango, about 175 kilometres west of the Sunshine Coast.
A car and a truck collided head-on just south of Nanango Tarong Road, with the truck driver taken to hospital as a precaution.
The condition of the car driver has not been confirmed.

The road was closed in both directions on Saturday afternoon.
It is not believed anyone else was involved.
