It was difficult to tell whether it was Captain Active or the children keeping up the pace in his show on Wednesday morning.
But towards the end of the show a mosh pit of children were dancing with him in front of the stage.
More than 100 children were estimated to be at the show which promotes a healthy and active lifestyle.
Among the parents watching was Nathan Thompson, who brought his two children Hamish, 1, and Laney, 2, to see the show.
“Laney is at the age where she is asking ‘what’s going on? What’s he talking about?’ She’s very intrigued,” Mr Thompson said.
They were a bit young to understand the message of physical activity. Going to the show was about doing something in Mount Isa with the children, he said.
Mr Thompson said he encouraged the children to be outdoors in the mornings and afternoons when the temperature was cooler.
