There has been a recent spate of Mount Isa bike thefts. On Jan 14, 5-8pm, a bicycle was stolen from Rebecca St. The bicycle was found a day later in bushes on Rebecca St. On Jan 16, at 10pm, a bicycle was stolen from Miles St. Police are looking for a purple and black bicycle with a curved centre-bar. On Jan 17, 5.30-10pm, a bicycle was stolen from a rack in Camooweal St. Police are looking for a green and black BMX bicycle with a fluro green wall on the back tyre.
