Nine months on from the botched 60 Minutes child snatch attempt that saw her thrown into a Lebanese jail, Sally Faulkner says she still has not had any contact with her estranged children.

Speaking to KIIS 1065's Kyle & Jackie O show on Monday morning, the Brisbane mum issued another public plea to ex-husband Ali Elamine to let her back into their kids' lives.
"I do not have and did not have any contact with them from the moment I said goodbye to them at the Beirut playground, at the McDonald's," she said.
"When I said goodbye, that is literally the last time I have spoken to them."
That final meeting came after Ms Faulkner, reporter Tara Brown and other members of the 60 Minutes crew filming the attempted kidnapping were arrested and jailed.
She and child recovery agent Adam Whittington were both charged over the bungled operation.
The mother-of-three told listeners she'd spent two days handcuffed to the woman who was attempting to tell her story.
She had given up on trying to contact her former partner via phone or email, Ms Faulkner said, before issuing a public plea.
"I'd just say to him, Ali if you are listening you need to do what's right for the children and what you're doing right now is certainly not right for the children," she said.
"They deserve a mother. They deserve their basic rights to be loved by two parents
"I just want to have a relationship with Noah and Lahela.
"I don't want to be completely and utterly blocked from all contact, photos. I've missed birthdays, Mother's Days, Christmases. I don't even know if she's lost her front tooth."
For his part, the Lebanese surf shop owner has accused the media of taking his former partner's side, saying in October he just wanted to concentrate on the children's wellbeing.
"From day one she was going on her own and the media took her side while I was concerned about the kids' state of mind, and how they should recover from the trauma they went through during the kidnapping," he said.
"The kids are doing well now in relation to what they went through and everything else does not matter. "
The "Mummy on a mission" gave up Australian custody of Noah and Lahela, the two children she had with Mr Elamine, in a deal that saw her and the crew released from prison.
On Monday, Jackie O asked whether the mother, who has another child in Australia, had to "pretty much sign your rights away with the kids, is that not true?"
"That's not true," Ms Faulkner said, adding there was a lot of "bullshit" regarding her story and appearing to criticise her hosts for an interview with Mr Elamine last year.
"I was pretty disturbed by what he was saying and I was actually really disappointed that he was able to just get away with saying those kind of things," she said.
