Justice of the Peace Lyn Roughan adjourned the matter for Tuesday, March 28.
The Cloncurry man is alleged to have smuggled $100,000 worth of Ice-Amphetamine, and $1000 of cannabis, in his carry bag while flying from Brisbane to Mount Isa.
He was arrested at the Mount Isa Airport on Wednesday morning.
Mr David faces 15 charges connected to possessing, supplying and trafficking dangerous drugs, said police prosecutor Sergeant Heather Whiting.
Mr David was represented by Legal Aid Queensland duty lawyer Stephanie Mansell, who requested the adjournment to March 28 as well as a brief of evidence from prosecution.
Mr David will appear by video link at the next court appearance.
No application for bail was made by Ms Mansell.
Mr David’s first appearance in the Mount Isa court was heard by the JP because the acting Mount Isa magistrate Mr Luxton, was in Cloncurry to hear another matter. There had been no scheduled court date for the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on Thursday.
