The house was established two years ago to the day, and offers support for cancer sufferers and their families.
Treasurer Trish Olsen is one of several survivors who volunteer at the house, and encourages people to visit.
“We have three groups here; Relay for Life Group, the Breast Cancer ladies, and Prostate Cancer Support Group, but anybody who has any form of cancer can come up to the house for a cup of tea or a talk,” Ms Olsen said.
Open day attendees enjoyed a beautiful spread of tea and biscuits, with facepainting and live music.
The house relies on fundraising to support its clients, and will host a Debutante Ball on July 22 for the North West Queensland Breast Cancer Support Group.
From March there will be craft mornings every second Tuesday, all are welcome.
