Police have been kept busy on the weekend, with a spate of armed robberies across south-east Queensland, including a violent attack on an Uber driver.

The ride-sharing driver was allegedly approached by two men on Alden Street in Fortitude Valley about 8.10pm and threatened with a spanner.
The victim was allegedly pulled from his car and beaten with the spanner, before the robbers fled in the stolen vehicle and a second getaway car.
Police said Polair was called in to help with the search and the thieves were tracked to a Tanah Merah address and arrested.
A 29-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, both from Tanah Merah, were charged with numerous offences including dangerous driving and armed robbery. They will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
The Uber driver, a 29-year-old man, suffered head injuries and was treated in hospital.
Police are also investigating a robbery in Richlands about 1.30am on Sunday. Two men threatened staff members in the Government Road business with knives and fled with cash.
Meanwhile, a Kallangur man has been charged over a hold-up at a Murrumba Downs service station about 10.30pm on Saturday.
The robber was allegedly armed with a knife and after the shop attendant refused to hand over cash, the man left with products from the shelves instead.
Detectives have also charged a Norman Park man after an attempted robbery at a take-away in Annerley on Saturday afternoon.
It will be alleged the man threatened a staff member with a knife about 2.50pm before being chased away by another staff member brandishing a long stick.
Earlier, a teenager was threatened with a handgun at a Caboolture South Woolworths on Friday night during a brazen hold-up.
